This just in: Larz accepting advertising on his site

Larz is now taking advertising dollars from XRT as well as a book by Richard Kaempfer. Interestingly, Larz calls Kaempfer's book the "best book of the year."

This latest move represents Larz' end game for his web site. As I have previously documented, he used duplicitous means to establish his web site, but was eventually able to eliminate the competition and create a virtual monopoly on Chicagoland radio web sites. He now wants to make money on the site and is openly whoring himself out to accomplish this.

I would think a detailed account of the site's financing would be in order. Does his advertising revenue exceed the costs associated with the site? This is implied by the fact that the revenue supposedly will be going toward funding "future upgrades" (which mysteriously go unnamed).

This is by far your funniest and most absurd rant.

Larz is not the first person on the internet to sell banner ads. Even NEWS SITES sell them. In the case of Larz' site, it is a MESSAGE BOARD. Opinions, not news - certainly not required in any way to be fair & unbiased. Even so, he did acknowledge the XRT ad before your silly post. He didn't have to do it, but he did because he felt like it -- because yeah it's his board and he can do what he wants.

It's been suggested many times Mappo - get your own board. Pay out of your own pocket and don't sell advertising since you're so against it.

"virtual monopoly on Chicagoland radio web sites" is the funniest line since "I'm a big fan of turd". Again, start your own site big boy.

He doesn't want his own board.

Mappo's sole purpose is to piss off Larz and the other posters there, because they don't accept Mappo.

Mappo doesn't know enough about the media, which is why his posts in the past sucked. He has never contributed to any message board, so he hates the message board's owner as well as hating the posters who know he isn't qualified to post on a media board.

The only thing he knows how to do is post Robert Feder or other online articles onto a message board. He has absolutely no thoughts or opinons on the media... his only goal is to piss off those that actually do. Mappo jealous.

Mappo,

In all seriousness, the webmaster of Score670.com message board has a deal with The Score radio station. On the Score's website, they have a link to the Score670.com board, while Score670.com has a link to the real Score website. Is that a conflict of interest? You may want to pursue that at Score670.com. Another awesome message board. But are you a sports fan?
